En Massachusetts, es ilegal administrarle a una persona cualquier tipo de droga con la intención de tener relaciones sexuales con esa persona. Si la/el sobreviviente o proveedor de atención médica sospecha que una droga fue administrada para facilitar una agresión, es posible que se obtenga una muestra de orina y/o sangre como parte de la prueba de violación sexual. Esto se llama prueba toxicológica.
